Hi! I’m Konstantin, a Software Architect at ZF Group with a long background in system and embedded software engineering. I’m based in Koblenz, Germany, where I work on complex software architectures for the automotive industry.

What I Do

For the past three years I’ve been working as a Software Architect at ZF Group, one of the world’s leading automotive technology companies. My work focuses on designing robust, scalable software systems — translating complex technical requirements into clear architectural decisions.

Before ZF, I spent nearly eight years at SYSGO in Mainz, Germany — a company specialising in safety-critical embedded operating systems. There I worked as a Project Engineer and later as a Software Architect, with a focus on real-time systems software development.

Technical Background

My expertise is rooted in system-level software engineering — areas where reliability, performance, and correctness matter most. Over the years I’ve worked with:

• Software architecture and design — modeling with UML, object-oriented design
• Embedded and real-time systems — including VxWorks 653 RTOS platforms
• PikeOS RTOS — driver development and BSP (Board Support Package) at SYSGO
• ARINC 664 / AFDX — development of the AFDX networking stack at SYSGO
• Avionics software — IMA (Integrated Modular Avionics) platform development
• Automotive software — AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and systems engineering at ZF Group
